Majordomo Staghelm Down!
Minions Marauders with Staghelm - 10 Nov 11
Thrantos and Holibull led a group of focused Minions raiders into the Firelands on this past Thursday to take out Majordomo Staghelm and pull us one step closer to being complete for normal difficulty raiding in Cataclysm. Great job by all who have made our raiding effort successful, especially our raid leader, Kylars. Thank you all so much for your hard work and dedication to get the job done so we can all feel satisfied with ourselves at the end of the week. Speaking of the end of the week... We will be taking our first attempt on Ragnaros this coming Monday. Make sure you study up, Minions! Let's finish the week strong!!

Minions Marauders with Lord Ryolith - 3 Nov 11
Tonight the Minions Marauders entered the Firelands to face Lord Ryolith, and dropped him after a few tries. This puts us at 5/7 for Normal Firelands. We went on to take 3 attempts on Majordomo Fangrel Staghelm, with our best being 6% remaining health. I believe that we should be able to clear the whole raid before Thanksgiving. Thanks to Logang for leading the raid and tanking for us. Congrats to all of our raiders who helped us get to where we are. You guys (and ladies) are the heat!

Minions Marauders down Alysrazor Oct 27, 2011
Tonight, the Minions Marauders went after our 4th boss in the Firelands, Alysrazor. She put up a heck of a fight, but when all was said and done, we ended the night with another step forward in our guild's raid progression. Everybody did a great job, and our two newest recruits, Notdeadyet and Khanaduh, both got loot. Congrats to our Marauders who put in the time to drop this boss. Only three more, and this place his history! Thanks to Logang for serving as our main tank and raid leader! Great job, Minions!

Baleroc Down! October 11, 2011
Though I was unable to attend the raid last night, the Minions Marauders stepped up the heat by dropping three bosses in the Firelands, two of which were first time kills for our guild. What an exciting raid this must have been for our raiders. I wish I could have been there to enjoy the victory with you, Minions.

Shannox Down!
The Minions Maraduers with our first Guild First Shannox kill. 9-6-2011
Tonight the Minions Marauders entered the Firelands for the first real attempt at a boss kill. After 3 failed attempts, we downed Shannox with zero deaths. This raid marked a huge step forward for our guild, and we are very excited to have reached this point in our raiding.

Minions Marauders Blackwing Descent Update
Minions Marauders posing with Chimaeron 6-21-11
It's been a while since I posted an update to our raiding progression, so many might believe that we've done nothing for a long time. Those people would be wrong. We've actually had some decent progress, though sometimes it was only in the form of faster kill times. Last week, the Marauders cleared the first 5 bosses and faced Nefarian for the first time. The screenshot above is from that raid and our guild first kill of Chimaeron. This week, post 4.2 patch, we blasted through the first 5 bosses in about an hour and spent the rest of the night working Nef. Unfortunately, we still do not have a screenshot to show for the effort, but there's always tomorrow. We're hopeful that we will have all of the "Defender" raids completed before mid-July, and will have started on the Firelands raid instance, as well. Our guild, though we're small, has every intention of continuing to progress through the content as fast as our "real life" schedules will allow.

Success breeds Success
The Minions Marauders with Maloriak after Feb 28 kill
The Minions Marauders had a fantastic week of raiding during this past raid cycle. After a repeat of last week's accomplishments of dropping Magmaw and the Omnitron Defense System, the Marauders headed into the Bastion of Twilight, where we defeated Halfus Wyrmbreaker, then the returned to Blackwing Descent to take on Maloriak, and take our first look at Atramedes.
The Marauders pose with their kill: Halfus Wyrmbreaker
Last night, we built upon our previous successes and hard work to defeat Maloriak then went on to get Atramedes down to 51%. This was a very satisfying way to finish out the raid cycle. We look forward to taking the things that we've learned from this week, and applying them to our upcoming raids to breed even more success. I want to thank all of the Minions that made this raid cycle so great. Everybody pitched in as much as they could by offering crafting materials, consumables, enchants, and gems to make sure that we were able to put our best foot forward. The result was a five-boss kill week spanning three different raid instances.
Great Job, Minions!

Blackwing Descent Under Attack
Minion Marauders Defeat Magmaw
Last night, February 10, 2011, the Minion Marauders took down the Baradin Hold baddie, Argaloth, then proceeded to Blackwing's Descent to face off against Magmaw, our first boss in that raiding instance. Led by Athelase, our guild's main tank, and one of our newest guild officers, the Marauders defeated Magmaw after 4 or 5 attempts. This is especially exciting for a number of reasons: First, Magmaw is our first "regular raiding dungeon" boss kill, which is satisfying all by itself. Second, This raid also marked the first multiple boss kill raid of Cataclysm (in multiple instances). Finally, our Marauders have plenty of time left in this current raid cycle to take down the Defense System, which would give us our first 3 boss raid cycle since Icecrown Citadel, which took much longer than this for us to achieve. Congrats to our Minions Marauders on their first Magmaw kill!

First Cataclysm Boss Kill
The Minions Marauders posing with Argaloth
Our First Cataclysm Boss Kill
This should have been a bigger deal on our website than it was, and I apologize for not posting this sooner...
The Minions entered Baradin Hold, for the first time as a guild, on Jan 27, 2011 to face Argaloth. After a couple of attempts to work out the fight mechanics, Argaloth folded like a lawn chair. This early success has fueled our Minions Marauders towards making the best start in raiding during any phase of World of Warcraft. We expect to have great success in Cataclysm if we can keep up the level of focus and perseverence that our raiders have shown at this point in the expansion.
