Onyxia Down!
The Minions of the Horde led a raid into Onyxia's Lair and defeated her after 3 attempts. We're proud of the fact that our Marauders were able to take Onyxia in our first night in there. Thanks go out to our friends from Tranquility guild that came along to help us out.
Minions,
Thank you so much for making this raid a ton of fun! I never take it for granted when you guys show up and put forth your best effort in our raids.

Lord Jaraxxus down
Tonight the Minions Marauders ventured into the Coliseum to face the Trial of the Crusader. After a slow start we bested the Beasts of Northrend, and moved on to defeat Lord Jaraxxus of the Burning Legion in two attempts. The Alliance Champions gave us pause, though, so we decided to regroup and make a fresh run at them later this week.
Minions,
I am extremely excited about the tenacity you all showed tonight. We got off to a rough start, but you stuck with it and we achieved a new guild milestone. Thank you so much for your patience and hard work. Let's knock 'em dead on Thursday!

Cataclysm Sneak Peek:
New Horde Race - Goblins
Originally the slaves of jungle trolls on the Isle of Kezan, the goblin race was forced to mine kaja'mite ore out of the volcanic bowels of Mount Kajaro.
The trolls used this potent mineral for their voodoo rituals, but it had an unexpected effect on the slaves who were in constant contact with it: kaja'mite generated a startling new cunning and intelligence in the goblins. Crafting their own powerful artifacts of engineering and alchemy in secret, the goblins soon overthrew their oppressors and claimed Kezan for their homeland. The mines that had been their prison, their slave camp, and the base of their rebellion now became the city of Undermine. Weaving through the heart of the island in a dizzying network of tunnels, vaults, and lava tubes, Undermine epitomizes the goblins' complex, unpredictable mindset.
The goblins' natural greed soon lifted them to prominence as masters of mercantilism. Trade princes arose during the First War as the cleverest goblins learned to take advantage of the strife. Great fortunes were amassed, and the Isle of Kezan became a hub for fleets of goblin trading ships. One of the trade princes agreed to lend his faction’s services to the Horde in the Second War. Following the Horde's defeat, the goblins learned from their colleague's failed example, and soon they realized that their profits could double if they weren't stuck in such a restrictive relationship. By the end of the Third War, goblins were providing weaponry, vehicles, and devious services to both the Horde and the Alliance. This wouldn't last forever...
Recently, the goblins of Kezan have found a new enemy in the Alliance – unexpected and unprofitable encounters with this faction have driven certain trade princes from their comfortable neutrality. Reforging old pacts with their one-time allies, the goblins have been welcomed into the Horde with open arms.

For the first time in months, the Minions Marauders ventured into Ulduar 10. This was also the first time we've accomplished more than one raid in a week since the early Fall. With 9 players in the raid (another guild first!), the Minions took down Flame Leviathon, Razorscale, and XT-002. Unfortunately, the server crashed on us, and we were unable to push beyond Kologarn.
This Ulduar run will likely be the last raid for the Minions this week, but I am really encouraged. Once again, the attitude and effort was great, and we had fun. Thank you, again, to all the Minions that came out to make this raid happen. Keep checking back, because we're not going to stop until we get into the Icecrown Citadel.
Have a great weekend, Minions!

Tonight the Minions Marauders returned to action with a 10 man Trial of the Crusader run. After months without any real raiding activity, we had a good turnout and actually downed the Beasts of Northrend. We made a couple of attempts on Lord Jaraxxus, with our best attempt bringing him down to 40% with only 9 players in the raid.
I want to thank all of the Minions who showed up for this raid. While we did invite 2 pugs to run with us, having so many of our own players together was really fun. Of course, we'd like to have gotten further than we did, but we made steady progress. This raid marks the first Beasts of Northrend kill for a MotH guild raid. I just wish I had the presence of mind to grab a screenshot. I am so proud of the effort and attitude that made this raid a success. You guys are awesome!
Warmest regards,
Buster

Things are finally coming together with the new site. I still have some bugs to fix, but this thing is largely functional. Please feel free to go ahead and register. The rest of the updates can be accomplished without having to erase anything. We're over the hump.
